Coloured Profile for Lamination

The laminating film covers only the external surfaces of the profile. When the sash is opened, the original colour of the plastic shows. White profile is usually used, but you can choose a coloured base — caramel or brown — if it harmonises better with the chosen lamination.

Frequently Asked Questions

How durable is lamination? Will the film fade in the sun?

We use high-quality films from leading European manufacturers designed for decades of service. They resist ultraviolet radiation, moisture and temperature changes — the colour keeps its saturation and does not fade over time.

Can a laminated window be scratched?

The laminating film is highly resistant to mechanical damage. Under normal household use it is difficult to scratch. Like any surface, however, it can be marked by a sharp metal object.

Does lamination significantly increase the window cost?

A laminated window costs more than a plain white one. The price depends on the type of lamination (one-sided or two-sided) and the chosen colour. On average the increase ranges from 20% to 40%.

How do I care for laminated windows?

Care is very simple — wipe the surface with a soft cloth and a regular soap solution. Avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents so as not to damage the film.

What is through-coloured lamination?

A technology in which the plastic profile itself is made coloured rather than white (for example brown or caramel). When the sash opens, no white edge shows, creating a more harmonious, complete look — especially with wood-like lamination.

Can already-installed white windows be laminated?

Lamination applies the film to the profile in factory conditions under high pressure and temperature. It is not possible to laminate windows already installed on site.
