Up-to-date lines running German technology mean premium-grade specs at fair prices. Six chambers even in the entry series — that's the new baseline here.
Pick WDS when you want the most value without paying for the badge.
Their RAU-FIPRO composite — the kind of stuff used in Formula 1 — carries oversized sashes with no steel inside. The slick HDF surface comes clean with a single wipe.
Pick Rehau if cutting-edge tech matters to you and the premium price is fine.
A fully closed square steel core means the window holds its shape even twenty floors up in a gale. It's the workhorse of the window world, engineered for decades of trouble-free service.
Pick Veka for high-rise floors and heavy glazing units.
WDS runs the same technology and equipment as the top German makers. The savings come from leaner logistics and not paying a surcharge for a household name.
- — Six chambers in a 70mm profile (rivals usually offer five)
- — A third sealing line on the MD series
- — Glazing units up to 48mm on the flagship profiles

FAQ
WDS Windows: Your Questions Answered
If the quality is comparable, why does WDS cost less than Rehau or Veka?
It comes down to brand premium and where the profile is made. Rehau and Veka are German heavyweights, and the cost of their marketing is baked into every window. WDS profiles are extruded on the very same Austrian and German lines, but the factory sits in Ukraine — which trims production and shipping costs without touching the quality of the PVC. In short, you pay for the product and the engineering, not the famous name.
Where are WDS profiles made?
WDS is the lead brand of MIROPLAST, the biggest PVC profile maker in Eastern Europe, based in Ukraine. The plant holds full EU certification. WDS earns its place in the Spanish market because it uses the same additives and PVC formula as the premium European brands while charging far less. The profile copes well with our strong sun and carries international compliance certificates, including IFT Rosenheim.
Which WDS model should I go for?
For most homes the WDS 76 MD is the one to beat — premium-grade features (three sealing lines, six chambers) at a standard profile price. If the budget is tight, the WDS 6S still does the job nicely. As a rough guide, a standard PVC tilt-and-turn supplied around €195 for a 100×100 cm unit lands near €335 once fitted, so WDS sits comfortably at the value end of the typical €280–480/m² installed band.
How do the MD and AD series differ?
The MD (Mitteldichtung) profile adds a third, central sealing line that sharpens both sound and heat insulation and shields the hardware from moisture. The AD profile is the traditional two-seal design.
What kind of warranty do WDS windows come with?
The profile carries a 10-year factory guarantee. On top of that you get 2 years on the fitting, 5 years on the hardware and 2 years on the glazing units.
Are WDS windows available in colours?
Yes — WDS offers a broad lamination range, from wood-effect finishes (oak, walnut, mahogany) to RAL shades (anthracite, grey, brown), and you can have it laminated on one or both sides. Expect coloured lamination to add roughly 20–30% over plain white.
