WDS SL76 is a parallel-sliding PVC system built on a 76 mm sash with a 150 mm frame mounting depth, using a 5-chamber frame plus 5-chamber sash. The sash steps out of the plane and glides behind the fixed part. Rated thermal performance is Uw ≤ 1.3 W/(m²·K) with sound damping up to 42 dB and air leakage at Class 4, the top airtightness grade.
The sash accepts insulating glass units up to 48 mm thick. For wide panoramic spans we suggest a double-chamber energy-saving unit with argon fill and multifunctional glass. The deep 48 mm pocket is what allows the SL76 to reach its Uw ≤ 1.3 W/(m²·K) rating and noise damping of up to 42 dB.

It is not unlimited. A single leaf is capped at 160–200 kg and a sash width of 2000 mm, so oversized portals fall outside its range. The system also relies on a low threshold (around 6 cm) that presses the sash from underneath, which is the trade-off needed to achieve full airtightness, so a flush, zero-barrier sill is not available here.
