Do you manufacture or install windows yourself?
No. Estimia is an independent IT platform and marketplace. We provide you with an engineering calculator for window calculations and connect you with trusted local manufacturers and installers in Spain.
Is this a paid service for me?
No, using the calculator, using the AI assistant, and receiving quotes are completely free for buyers. The platform earns money from service fees from partner companies.
What if I don't know the exact dimensions down to the millimeter?
No problem! To receive initial quotes from companies, approximate dimensions are sufficient (for example, measuring from edge to edge with a tape measure). Before the window goes into production, a professional measurer from the company you selected will visit you free of charge.
Is the price shown by the calculator the final price?
The calculator shows the "Registered Price Index" (RRP) of the structure itself, so you can understand the approximate budget. The final price you receive from the companies will include delivery, removal of the old windows, and installation of the new ones.
Who will I pay for the windows?
You sign an official contract and pay the installation company you choose directly. Estimia does not accept payments for window manufacturing.
Can I just describe my project in plain language, without measurements?
Yes. Our quote portal includes an AI assistant: tell it something like "soundproof windows for a second-floor flat in Madrid" and it builds a starter project for you. You then fine-tune the design with the visual configurator before sending it out for bids.
If I submit a request, will my phone be bombarded with spammers?
Absolutely not. We protect your contact information. Your request is sent to companies anonymously. They send their price quotes directly to your Estimia account. You decide which companies you want to share your contact information with so they can schedule an appointment.
How do you verify the companies that send me quotes?
We only allow officially registered businesses in Spain to access the platform (we check CIF/NIF). Companies undergo our moderation process, and we permanently block their marketplace profiles for any attempts at fraud or poor quality work.
Who provides a warranty on installed windows?
The warranty (for the profile, hardware, and labor) is provided by the installing company in accordance with Spanish law. Profile manufacturers (Rehau, Cortizo, etc.) also provide multi-year manufacturer's warranties on the material.
Is my data protected under GDPR? Can I delete it?
Yes. Estimia operates from Spain and complies with the GDPR. From your account you can export or delete your contact data at any time, and our support team will help if you prefer to do it by email. We never sell or rent your information — only the companies you explicitly choose receive your contact details.
