UW- value 1,1

Schüco AD UP 75 (Aluminium Door Universal Platform) is a complete reinvention of the aluminum door concept. Schüco engineers abandoned the classic thermal bridge design in favor of a 5-chamber symmetrical construction where aluminum is combined with composite materials.

This structure gives the door incredible stability (the sash does not deform from heat) and high airtightness thanks to three sealing circuits. This is the ideal choice for a front entrance to a private home where both prestigious aesthetics and reliable protection from harsh climate are important.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions about Schüco AD UP 75

What does AD UP mean?

Aluminium Door Universal Platform. This is a new generation of Schüco systems designed to replace the classic ADS series with better statics and manufacturability.

Is it really warm?

Yes, thanks to the wide thermal break zone with foam inserts and middle sealing circuit. The Ud coefficient can reach 1.1 W/m²K with glazing and less than 0.8 W/m²K with a warm panel.

What is the difference from Schüco ADS 75?

AD UP is a more modern design. It has 5 chambers (instead of 3), better maintains geometry at large sizes, has a simpler hardware mounting system, and improved airtightness.

What threshold does this system have?

An aluminum threshold with thermal break is used, which can be mounted either standard (20 mm height) or fully recessed into the floor for barrier-free access.

Can concealed hinges be used?

Yes, AD UP 75 supports fully concealed roller hinges (100° opening angle) or surface-mounted hinges supporting sashes weighing up to 200 kg.

How well is the door protected against burglary?

The system has been tested to RC3 burglar resistance class. This means the door withstands prolonged break-in attempts using heavy tools (crowbar, screwdrivers, wedges).
