Will a black or anthracite door deform in the sun?

In the AluClip system, the aluminum cladding is attached to the PVC profile with a floating mount. This allows the metal to expand in the sun independently from the plastic, preventing sash bending ("banana effect"), which is critical for dark doors in the Spanish climate.

How does the 88 series compare to the 70 series for burglar resistance?

Due to the increased depth of 88 mm and the ability to install glazing units/panels up to 58 mm, this system allows the use of concealed hinges and RC3 class locks. It is physically much harder to tear such a profile from the frame.

Why is a third seal contour needed in AluClip doors?

The middle contour (MD) divides the internal space into two chambers. This creates a "dry zone" for hardware operation, protecting locks and hinges from salty sea air and corrosion, extending their lifespan by 2 times.

What is the advantage over pure aluminum doors?

Aluminum is an excellent conductor of cold and heat. The 88 AluClip hybrid provides the external aesthetics of metal, but inside has a 6-chamber PVC that is 3 times more effective at keeping air conditioning coolness inside the home.

Can a damaged aluminum cladding be replaced separately?

Yes, this is a unique advantage. If the external panel is scratched or damaged during construction, it can be removed and replaced with a new one without replacing the entire door structure and removing it from the opening.

How high is the threshold in this system?

The 88 system comes with a "smart" threshold only 20 mm high with thermal break. It is virtually unnoticeable when walking and fully complies with barrier-free environment standards, while maintaining sealing from heavy rain.
