The Veka AluConnect entrance door is an engineering breakthrough that blurs the boundaries between aluminum and plastic systems. Unlike doors with decorative cladding, here the aluminum profile is the load-bearing skeleton of the structure. It provides exceptional statics, geometric precision, and the ability to create large-format sashes characteristic of aluminum systems. At the same time, a multi-chamber "warm heart" of PVC is integrated inside the aluminum contour, completely eliminating the main problem of metal — high thermal conductivity.

This solution allows abandoning the fragile polyamide thermal bridges used in warm aluminum. The insulator is the massive PVC profile itself, rigidly connected to the metal. Visually, the door looks like a premium aluminum product: strict edges, powder coating in any RAL color, and characteristic corner joints without weld seams. This is the ideal choice for modern architecture where the cold aesthetics of metal is required, but heat retention must remain at passive house level.

Is this an aluminum door or a plastic one?

It is a hybrid. In terms of statics and appearance — it is aluminum. In terms of thermal insulation and interior finish — it is warm PVC. You get the advantages of both materials without their drawbacks.

Can the door be painted any color?

Yes, the outer aluminum part is powder coated in any RAL palette color. The coating is impact-resistant, vandal-proof, and UV-resistant.

How warm is this door?

It is significantly warmer than "cold" aluminum and comparable to premium "warm" aluminum systems with wide thermal bridges, while often winning on price. Ud is about 1.1 W/m²K.

What hinges are used?

We can install both classic surface-mounted hinges for entrance doors (attached through aluminum to steel/PVC) and concealed hinges for minimalist design.

Won't the door warp in the sun?

The AluConnect system has solved the bimetallic effect problem. Aluminum and PVC are connected so they can slightly "move" relative to each other during expansion without deforming the overall sash geometry.

What panel can be installed?

The 82 mm depth and allowable filling thickness up to 58 mm allow use of the thickest designer panels with high thermal insulation and burglar resistance.
