Cortizo COR Vision is a gem of modern architecture, designed for those who cannot tolerate visual barriers. This is not just a window; it is a design solution that transforms the perception of space. The main feature of the system is the central sash interlock with a width of only 20 mm. This is currently one of the slimmest figures in the world. Thanks to the concealed frame, which can be fully recessed into the floor, ceiling, and walls, you see only glass. The glazing area reaches 91%.

Despite its visual weightlessness, COR Vision is a powerful engineering structure. It can support sashes weighing up to 320 kg while providing smooth and silent sliding thanks to stainless steel rails. The system features a thermal break and allows the creation of unique architectural forms: corner connections without a mullion (90-degree angle), pocket door configurations (Galandage), and automated solutions. This is the choice for luxury villas and prestigious apartments.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions about Cortizo COR Vision

Is the profile really only 20 mm wide?

Yes, the central sash interlock has a visible width of exactly 20 mm. The remaining frame parts (top, bottom, sides) are typically concealed within walls and ceiling during installation, so visually the window consists almost entirely of glass.

How does Vision differ from conventional sliding systems?

Conventional systems have wide frames (10-12 cm) that obstruct the view. COR Vision is structural glazing where aluminum serves as a concealed framework. Additionally, the glass unit is bonded into the sash for rigidity rather than simply inserted.

Will it be cold with such large glass panels?

No, if you use high-quality energy-saving glass units. The system itself has a thermal break, and the large glass area is heated by the sun in winter (passive heating). A Uw coefficient of 1.3 W/m2K meets modern residential standards.

Is it difficult to move a 300 kg sash?

The sashes are equipped with special reinforced stainless steel rollers that are perfectly fitted to the track. Despite the enormous weight, the inertia allows an adult to easily open and close the door. Automatic drive installation is also available.

Is installing such a system difficult?

Yes, COR Vision requires the highest installer qualifications and perfectly prepared openings. Frames are often recessed into floors and walls, requiring precise design at the construction stage. This is a product of high engineering complexity.

Is it safe to have a glass wall?

COR Vision uses only thick tempered glass (or laminated glass). Breaking it accidentally is virtually impossible - it withstands impacts from balls or bodies. During break-in attempts, such glass behaves like armor.
