Veka AluConnect is a unique engineering development that combines the advantages of two materials into a single integrated system. Unlike standard windows with aluminum cladding, here aluminum is not just decoration but a load-bearing structural element. The outer aluminum contour takes on all static loads, allowing elimination of steel reinforcement inside the profile. Inside is the "warm heart" — a multi-chamber PVC profile that provides the highest thermal insulation, unattainable for conventional aluminum systems without expensive thermal breaks.

The system is designed specifically for modern architecture: it features strict rectangular forms, narrow mullions, and the option for powder coating in any RAL color. Thanks to the rigid connection between aluminum and PVC, the window maintains perfect geometry under any temperature fluctuations. This is the ideal choice for those who want the premium appearance of aluminum windows but are not willing to sacrifice home comfort or overpay for heating.

What is the difference from aluminum cladding on windows?

In windows with cladding, the PVC profile with reinforcement is load-bearing, and aluminum is just decoration. In AluConnect, aluminum is the load-bearing skeleton of the window. They are permanently connected to PVC under factory conditions and work as a single unit.

Why buy AluConnect if there is warm aluminum?

AluConnect is significantly warmer than standard aluminum (Uf 1.1) because there is no cold-conducting metal inside, but warm PVC instead. Plus, the cost of AluConnect is often lower than premium aluminum systems with wide thermal breaks.

How do the corners look on these windows?

On the outside, you see a perfect aluminum joint at 90 degrees (like on expensive aluminum windows), without the ground weld seam typical of plastic. Inside — a neat PVC weld seam.

Can windows be painted in any color?

Yes, the outer aluminum part is powder coated in any RAL color. The coating is vandal-resistant and does not fade in the sun for decades. The inner part can be white or laminated.

Is steel reinforcement needed inside?

In most standard structures — no. The closed aluminum contour on the outside provides excellent statics, superior to conventional steel reinforcement inside PVC. This also reduces sash weight.

How thick a glass unit can fit?

The system allows glass units up to 58 mm. This opens access to armored glass, heavy acoustic laminated glass, and triple-chamber units for extreme climates.
