REHAU Geneo is an innovative, high-tech PVC profile system for windows and doors, setting new standards in energy efficiency, stability and lightness. A distinctive feature of Geneo is the use of high-tech RAU-FIPRO X material, which provides exceptional strength without the need for steel reinforcement in most cases, which significantly improves thermal insulation properties. Thanks to an installation depth of 86 mm and multi-chamber construction, the system achieves outstanding thermal insulation indicators, contributing to maximum reduction in heating costs.
Windows made from Geneo profile have excellent sound insulation, effectively protecting against external noise, and offer a high level of burglary protection. The light weight of the profiles simplifies installation and handling, and the smooth surface facilitates maintenance. REHAU Geneo provides wide opportunities for architectural design thanks to the variety of shapes, colors and finishes, allowing the implementation of bold and elegant solutions that meet the highest requirements for aesthetics and functionality.

Details
Innovative system made of RAU-FIPRO material, without steel reinforcement, for maximum thermal insulation and strength. HDF.
Design Parameters and Material:
- Installation depth: 86 mm.
- Profile material: Innovative fiberglass composite RAU-FIPRO X. The material provides record strength and rigidity, allowing elimination of steel reinforcement in 90% of cases.
- Profile construction: 6 functional chambers. The absence of steel reinforcement inside the chambers eliminates the main "thermal bridges", making the profile maximally warm.
- Sealing system: 3 sealing circuits (MD) made of high-quality RAU-PREN material. The center circuit has a special shape for maximum airtightness and reduced closing effort.
- Surface: HDF (High Definition Finishing) — perfectly smooth surface that prevents dust accumulation.
Glazing Options:
- Maximum glass unit thickness: up to 53 mm.
- Glazing type: The system is designed for use with heavy energy-efficient double-chamber glass units and acoustic laminated glass.
- Rebate depth: 66 mm — for reliable retention of heavy glass units.
Certified Characteristics (according to DIN EN 14351-1):
- Profile thermal insulation (Uf): 0.86 W/m²K (open profile). When using thermal modules, the indicator improves, allowing achievement of passive house standards.
- Window thermal insulation (Uw): up to 0.66 W/m²K (when using warm units). Certified by the Passive House Institute in Darmstadt (PHZ).
- Sound insulation (Rw,p): up to 47 dB (class 5) without steel reinforcement. The glass does not contact metal, which dampens resonance.
- Burglary resistance: Up to RC2 class without steel reinforcement, up to RC3 class with additional reinforcement.
- Weight: Windows made from Geneo profile are up to 40% lighter than counterparts with steel reinforcement, reducing load on hardware and extending its service life.

FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions about Rehau Geneo
What makes Geneo special?
Profiles made of RAU-FIPRO X composite material provide high rigidity without steel reinforcement in most sizes, which reduces heat loss.
What geometry and chambers?
Installation depth 86 mm, 6-chamber construction with optimized geometry for heat and rigidity.
Glass unit thickness and sound?
Up to 53 mm glass unit thickness; sound insulation with proper configuration - up to ~50 dB (Rw), which is suitable for noisy highways.
What are the energy efficiency indicators?
Low Uw values up to ≈0.85 W/m²·K and below in energy-efficient configurations - savings on heating/cooling.
Can large sashes be made?
Yes, thanks to RAU-FIPRO X composite, large and heavy sashes are possible with less weight of the structure and high stability.
Safety and design options
Configurations up to RC2/RC3, concealed hinges, designer handles, KALEIDO laminations and smooth HDF surface.
Where is Geneo preferable?
In energy-efficient homes, objects with high requirements for sound insulation and design, including panoramic openings.
Geneo vs Synego - what to choose?
